The release date of Bhushan Kumar's Baadshaho with Ajay Devgn in the lead and directed by Milan Luthria has been pushed back to May 12, 2017. The reason behind the postponement is to avert a clash with the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Raees and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil both of which are hitting the theatres on January 26 next year. Incidentally, SRK's Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Ajay's The Son of Sardaar had clashed which created a lot of controversies.
According to sources Ritesh Sidhwani and Rakesh Roshan, the producers of Raees and Kaabil respectively requested Bhushan to adjust the release dates and the latter readily agreed. Baadshaho also stars Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Ileana D'cruz and Esha Gupta.
