Darkhaast, the romantic track from Shivaay, featuring Ajay Devgn and Erika Kaar has passion and poignance in equal measure. Shot exquisitely against the Himalayan landscape, the song delves into some intimate moments between the film's lead couple. While the magic of the song will unfold when it breaks online on September 22 at 12 noon, sources say that lyricist Sayyeed Qaudri and music composer Mithoon had a tough task working on it. It is said that Ajay was clear that the lyrics had to be carefully chosen because it isn't just a song in the film. It is a track that captures the emotions and situation in which the couple are. It's a crucial part of the narrative because it takes the story forward in rhyme.

Ajay goes big with Shivaay's title track
Actor-director Ajay Devgn believes in doing things differently. So, when it comes to launching the title track of his film Shivaay, he decided to create a visual extravaganza with a music video of the track. Har har bolo composed by Mithoon has in its music video, singers as well as the music director himself.
Mithoon joins singers Badshah, Sukhwinder Singh, Megha Sriram Dalton and Mohit Chauhan for the number that took more than a year to finally touch the finishing line. Says Mithoon, "Ajay Devgn's brief to me was very clear. He wanted me to make a powerful sound to represent the intensity and the contemporary nature of his film at a level of world music."
