If sources are to be taken seriously, former Pakistani cricket captain Shahid Afridi has been approached for the reality show Bigg Boss on the Indian channel Colors.

The trend of roping in cricketers is nothing new as rumours of Sourav Ganguly and other acclaimed cricketers being offered Bigg Boss grabbed headlines in the past. An otherwise reticent cricketer-turned-commentator NS Sidhu was part of one season of the reality show. And with the news of an international celebrity of the stature of Afridi being approached for Bigg Boss gives a fillip to the momentum that the show needs.     

The final word isn’t out yet, but if at all the charismatic cricketer from across the border gives his nod, Bigg Boss will have the biggest international figure ever to grace the show.
